Grants and Funding
The UW-Madison EUCE has resources available for the study of the European Union, Europe, and/or EU-US relations.
The EUCE will grant a small number of travel awards of up to $1,000 to UW faculty and graduate students conducting research on the EU, European integration, and/or transatlantic relations, defined broadly. For example, such research projects could address
Projects that do not directly address the EU itself must compare the experience of more than one European country. Priority will be given to faculty and students who have worked with the EU Center of Excellence, and/or to those who have not previously received travel support from this source. Graduate students at both the pre-dissertation and dissertator stage are eligible to apply.
Deadline for submission of EUCE travel grant proposals is December 15, 2006. Grant recipients will be notified within 30 days thereafter. Monies will be awarded as reimbursements for travel expenses and must be requested by August 31, 2007. The proposal should not be more than two pages in length, and should be accompanied by a CV.
